Volunteer Opportunities

Many people ask us how they can help. Our own personnel are responsible for planning, ordering and cooking the food. We must always be vigilant about following the Health Department regulations.

However, we do use volunteers to do basic preparation such as chopping veggies, opening cans collected from food drives, and serving from the food stations. Volunteers are needed every day and we have been blessed with an over abundance. You can call Pam at 755-3663 to schedule a date for you or your group to come in and work. We are grateful to all our volunteers.

We are looking for ideas for fundraisers. Maybe you could organize a food drive or penny drive, etc. If you or your group want to have a food drive we take canned foods (the larger the can, the fewer we have to open), please stick to the basics like green beans, corn, peas, mixed vegetables, spaghetti sauce, etc. Packaged cookies are great for the After School Meal Program.

We always need monetary donations to cover the huge budget we have to keep the kitchen and after school program up and running.
