Fundraising Events

February - Souper Bowl Sunday - First Sunday in February. We ask churches and/or youth groups to have people in the church foyer with empty soup pots and ask members for a dollar donation for the soup kitchen.

June - ESSK Annual Golf Outing - Third Monday in June. This year the date is June 21st at SAGINAW COUNTRY CLUB (new venue). It begins with a continental breakfast and registration at 8:00 a.m. Play commences at 9 a.m. The fee is $100 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf, cart, refreshments on the course, lunch and an awards ceremony.

We are in need of sponsorships (numerous opportunities are available from $50 to $1000), gift items and golfers. Proceeds will benefit both the Soup Kitchen's lunchtime meal program and After-School Program for area children.

August - Stuff-A-Bus - August 27th and 28th Our collections bus (both a big one for food and a small one for monetary donations) will be parked at a location and times to be determined. We ask that your bring non-perishable food donations and monetary donations. You can check our wish list for items we especially need. Come out to the bus and we will gladly accept your donations for those in need of a meal in Saginaw.

September - Spaghetti Dinner details will be announced durning the Summer of 2010.

October - Halloween Fundraiser - The fundraiser with Image Artz Photography will be available in the Fall of 2010. Thank you to all who participated last year.

November - Annual Holiday Appeal card mailed to donors.
